Unlocking Student Potential Through Mentorship
The Marion County GUIDE Program is redefining how we support and inspire students in Marion County. This eight-week pilot intervention pairs retired and former educators with middle school students, providing personalized academic support, career exploration, and meaningful mentorship. By fostering strong relationships and empowering students to see new possibilities, GUIDE is setting a higher standard for what education can achieve in our community.

Located in the heart of the Pee Dee, Marion County schools are an easy drive from Florence, Fayetteville, Myrtle Beach, and beyond. Whether you're coming from a neighboring city or a rural town, our convenient location means less time on the road and more time making a difference.

What does a GUIDE do?
Support
Shadow a small group of students two days a week through, providing individualized intervention support as needed.
Connect
Build relationships with students to understand their needs and connect them with school resources.
Mentor
Conduct bi-monthly, virtual meetings with parents and teachers to discuss student progress.
